Program Description: Please join Ravenscroft's middle school art teacher, Roz Cooper, and stained glass artist in residence Dan Hohl in this weeklong camp. Students will make multiple projects in different art mediums. They will complete a ceramic plate or mug and fire it in the kiln with a lovely glaze. They will be able to paint with acrylic on canvas and paint on silk with silk painting dyes. In the glass medium we will be making fused jewelry and ornaments as well as a glass stepping stone.

Instructor: Rosalind Cooper holds a Masters Degree in Art Education, with major areas of concentration in ceramics and textile design. She has taught art for over 25 years. Her summer classes are known for their rich variety of "project" choices. The broad array of media used includes ceramics, paints, silk screening, mosaic, stained glass and more.

Mrs. Cooper will be joined by Dan Hohl, a local artist, who has assisted her with a wide variety of summer art programs for the past 7 years.
