Program Description: Compete in Olympic-style math competitions while building your confidence and passion for math. Learn and review the essentials of middle school math such as pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, arithmetic, logic and reasoning, and problem-solving strategies. Group learning exercises such as games and puzzles will make learning more interactive and challenging. As a result, campers will strengthen their math skills and prepare for higher level mathematics.
What to Bring: Pencils, Scratch Paper, Notebook, and Calculator
Instructor: Ben Gabin earned his BA in International relations from Tufts University. He has worked for four years as a tutor and now owns his own tutoring company, Circles Tutoring, where he specializes in SAT and ACT prep, math for all ages, study success skills, and Spanish. He has also previously worked as a math and Spanish teacher and strives to make learning interactive and fun to engage his students.
