Program Description: This camp explores the world of photo-based printmaking. Photographic images and transfers will combine with ink in the form of monoprints, stencils, collagraphs and other techniques. Photographic images will be the basic building block on which work is created. The images will be altered and enhanced with printmaking. Printmaking is a traditional artistic process which one transfers images from one surface onto another surface (most often paper) *This course can be taken in combination with the morning session Darkroom Photography

Instructor: Erin Stelling teaches upper school photography and advanced art at Ravenscroft. She works primarily with photography and printmaking. She has an M.F.A.from the University of Pennsylvania. While at Penn, Erin received a grant to study at the Royal College of Art in London. In addition, she studied graphic design at Parsons, The New School. Her work has been exhibited in numerous shows in Pennsylvania and New York.
