Campers will be inspired by some of the master artists around the world, and they will be able to design their own masterpieces influenced by famous artists. Each day we will learn about a new artist and their techniques. This art camp is geared toward using our imagination and developing various skills while learning about the masters of the art world!
Artists for this session: Jackson Pollock, Yayoi Kusama, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, and Henri Matisse. Master artists are subject to change.
Equipment: Clothing to get a little messy in and a water bottle!
Instructor: Kristen Callaghan has taught PK-1st grade Art at Ravenscroft since 2019! She has received her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from High Point University. She
enjoys creating, getting messy, and experimenting with art of all kinds. When Miss Callaghan is not teaching, she enjoys playing with her one-year-old puppy Willow, video games with her new husband, and traveling! She is planning on exploring; a little bit in
Alaska at the beginning of this summer.
