Description: Using acrylic paints, watercolors, crayons, colored pencils, pens and collage papers, campers will transform and old hardback book into a creative art journal to express their feelings, relieve stress, support self-care and nurture their dreams and aspirations. Inspirational quotes, poetry, lists, song lyrics, and self-reflective prompts will provide the written elements of the journal.
Instructor: Rosalind Cooper holds a Masters Degree in Art Education, with major areas of concentration in ceramics and textile design. She has taught art for over 25 years. Her summer classes are known for their rich variety of "project" choices. The broad array of media used includes ceramics, paints, silk screening, mosaic, stained glass and more.
