For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.
Strategic Partnerships
In service of our mission to nurture students’ individual potential and prepare them to thrive in a complex and interdependent world, Ravenscroft partners with experts across a range of subjects, enriching and enhancing our programming and providing our faculty and staff, students and families with expanded access to training, information and resources across many of today’s most important educational priorities.
Since 2010, Ravenscroft has partnered with the Center for Creative Leadership — a top-ranked global provider of leadership development — in developing and implementing our groundbreaking Lead From Here citizen leadership framework. Designed to teach the leadership skills that business, government, nonprofit and education leaders from all over the world have identified as crucial in today’s workforce, Lead From Here prepares our students from PreK to 12th grade to lead and collaborate with others to create positive change. Ongoing training for faculty and staff and workshops for parents and guardians further ground our community in this one-of-a-kind framework.

One Schoolhouse is a leader in online education specifically built for the unique needs of independent schools. Students in our Upper School may take a One Schoolhouse class instead of an independent study to delve more deeply into a content area of interest with a group of peers at independent schools nationwide. While interest in a particular subject may motivate students, they also learn skills to prepare them for what online learning may look like in college.

District C connects Ravenscroft students with local businesses to help them build the capacity to solve real-world problems using their "Teamship" tools. In our middle and upper school classes, students develop a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship by collaborating and utilizing the design process to identify a key insight that a small business faces and create a prototype they pitch in a business-style meeting. Through this partnership, we teach our students the importance of delivering real value to a business in need rather than solely working to earn a grade.
