For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.

Program Description: The Book Splashers camp is all about fostering a love and appreciation for reading! Each day, we'll dive into a different genre, including nonfiction, historical fiction, mystery/science fiction, poetry, and realistic fiction. Activities will include making bookmarks, listening to engaging stories, enjoying independent reading time with a refreshing summer beverage, and more. Led by Mrs. Matal, a seasoned 7th-grade ELA teacher at Ravenscroft with decades of experience inspiring young readers, this camp is perfect for book enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys reading but wants to explore it further.
Instructor: Doris Matal, is currently an English and Language Arts instructor in the Ravenscroft Middle School.
