Pitching Camp

Program Description: This is a 2 day intensive camp with instruction focused on the skills of pitching. There will be a focus on the foundation of a pitcher's delivery from both the stretch and wind up positions. Additionally, drills to teach proper technique; especially footwork, grips and adjustments, fielding the position and the mental approach to the game will be a prominent part of the curriculum. Video analysis will be used daily to give feedback to the pitcher.

What to Bring: Baseball Glove, Spikes, Sneakers, Water Bottle, and comfortable workout clothes marked with the camper's name.

Instructor: Greg Long played baseball at UNC Greensboro. He has been a Physical Education teacher at Ravenscroft for nearly 40 years and coaches both the JV Football and JV Baseball teams.
