For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.

Program Description: During this fun week, we will be exploring everything music! We will explore playing of various instruments including, BoomWhackers, xylophones, percussion instruments, and drums. We will explore composers and classical music as well as current artists and pop music. We will explore music and instruments from around the world. We will explore the elements of music. We will explore using our bodies and voices to make music. Making Music Fun is a great camp that will allow any music loving child to explore all that music is about! We will end our week of camp with a dance party, a treat, and disco lights!
Instructor: Katie O'Neill joined the Lower School and Fine Arts Departments in 2015 as the General Music instructor for Pre-Kindergarten through grade 3. A trained vocalist, conductor and educator, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a concentration in voice from Meredith College, as well as a Master of Music in Music Education, K-12 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
