For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.
Three Ravenscroft art students have been recognized for their submissions to the Fine Arts League of Cary Teen Show.
Six Middle School students took the global Pegasus Mythology Exam in March, with all winning awards for their performance.

Program Description: Step into the vibrant world of Chinese language and culture at Chinese Cultural Camp! Campers will learn to speak numbers and colors in Mandarin, building a strong foundation in both the written and spoken language. They’ll also explore the art of Chinese calligraphy, crafting their own beautiful Chinese scrolls to showcase skills.
Campers will dive into Chinese traditions through hands-on activities such as mastering the Chinese yo-yo, the bamboo dance, Jian-Ziand and learning how to use chopsticks like a pro. They’ll also tap into their creativity by making lanterns and paper cutting, a traditional Chinese craft.
In addition to all these cultural activities, campers will get a taste of Chinese cuisine by making dumplings. Whether it’s cooking, crafting, or learning the language, Chinese Cultural Camp offers a fun and engaging way for kids to immerse themselves in Chinese culture and language. This camp is perfect for anyone looking to explore new skills and experience the rich Asian traditions in a hands-on and exciting way!
Instructor: Chiu-Ping Lin, is a Ravenscroft Middle School Mandarin teacher and has been teaching Mandarin for 10 years, specializing in making language learning both fun and effective, ensuring students stay engaged while mastering Mandarin. Ms. Lin is also skilled in designing creative cultural activities, helping students connect with Chinese traditions in an enjoyable way. Passionate about Chinese calligraphy, she loves teaching this beautiful art form to her students.
