For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.

Five senior Ravens were among the outstanding winter-season athletes named to Raleigh News & Observer’s All-Metro teams announced March 29: swimmers Matthew Youngbar ’18 and Mary Pruden ’18, wrestler Calvin Atkeson ’18, and basketball players Madison Taylor ’18 and Chris Barnette ’18. Three spring-season senior athletes received this recognition as well: lacrosse player RuthAnne Winston ’18 and golfers Quinn Riley ’18 and Chase Tickle ’18. Congratulations!

A welcoming community has always been a core value at Ravenscroft. That value has become more important than ever as the school has grown to include more international students and families. Ravenscroft’s Global Parent Ambassadors, or GPA, was formed by parents in 2016 to strengthen that sense of community for international families and help share their cultures with others. Tucker Street alumna Marriott Procter Little, a prolific visual artist, was inducted into Ravenscroft’s Fine Arts Hall of Fame this spring.
