For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.
As part of a broader decision by school leadership to limit on-campus events during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alumni Council has postponed Alumni Celebration Weekend, the Alumni Art Exhibition and class reunions, originally slated for Oct. 9-10, 2020, until 2021.
Events scheduled for the 2020 Alumni Celebration Weekend, including the annual Alumni Association Luncheon and Meeting, and the 25th Annual Golf Classic have been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alumni Council President Watts Winston ’10 said, “In responsibly managing the situation at hand, we’re excited to announce that our alumni will have the opportunity to experience a revamped calendar of class reunions. We look forward to orchestrating a series of engaging virtual events in the upcoming months that we hope will lead up to a more traditional face-to-face celebration in the spring of 2021. We both appreciate and look forward to everyone’s participation and support.”
Graduates from classes ending in “0” or “5” are encouraged to stay in touch with Dan Ressner ’99, Alumni Engagement Officer, and their class agents for updates in the months to come. Additional sources of information include the Ravenscroft Alumni Facebook group.
The 25th Annual Ravenscroft Golf Classic scheduled for Monday, Oct. 12, is also on hold for now.
