Ravens win gold for their “idea to reform the nursing home inspection system in North Carolina.” An idea, according to the official press release, that would potentially save taxpayers $14 million per year.

THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS!
Thank you to the parent volunteers who work so hard to make Ravenscroft such a special place for our employees, students and families! Enjoy stories from last year’s Ravenscroft Reports about our parent-run organizations and the indispensable volunteers who make the magic possible:
- Fall GoPlaySave Fundraiser Powers the PA (October 2019)
- RAC Volunteers Support Another Successful Golf Tournament (November 2019)
- Fine Arts Association Members Relish Supporting Role (January 2020)
- Thank You to These Parent Volunteers! (February 2020)
- Online Auction, Gala Volunteers Strengthen Community (March 2020)
- End-of-Year Shout-Out to Parent Groups (April 2020)
We also appreciate the loyalty and dedication of our Alumni Council — who lead and support the Alumni Association by planning special alumni events including Homecoming, reunions, class gatherings and Career Week — and our Alumni Class Agents who work hard to keep classmates in touch with one another and the school.
Thank you as well to our Board of Trustees for their tireless commitment to guiding and shaping policies and strategies that secure Ravenscroft’s future. Their service has quite possibly never been as important as it is now, as we chart our course through the many challenges of the pandemic. We’d like to extend our gratitude to the four board members who completed their terms in 2019-20: Kevin Anderson ’82, John Parham ’84, Donna Preiss and Jim Ziperski.
