Festivities, Ceremonies Honor the Graduating Class of 2021

The senior class joined the ranks of Ravenscroft alumni at their commencement ceremony on Friday, May 28, but this special group of students celebrated their time together with a number of special activities over the last month.

Three Upper School art students have been recognized for their submissions to the Fine Arts League of Cary's 2021 Teen Show.

Bailey Foster '21 was recognized with a Digital and Photography Award for her work, "Double Exposure." Bailey is currently enrolled in Photography II with art teacher Erin Stelling.

In addition, two students have won a $1,000 scholarship to Meredith College for their work: Sophie Thomas '23, who is taking Visual Art I with Allison Tierney, won for her digital composition entitled "Digital Mosaic Self-Portrait"; and Lila Wilson '23 won for her graphite and acrylic drawing entitled "W-A-V-E." Lila is enrolled in Visual Art I as well as Photography II.
