Ravenscroft earned Triangle Independent Schools Athletic Conference (TISAC) championships in wrestling, varsity boys basketball, and varsity girls basketball this week. Each team successfully defended its conference title from the prior season.

The varsity wrestling squad got things started on Thursday when Ravenscroft hosted the TISAC conference tournament in the Finley Center. Eight different Ravens won individual titles to power the team to its second consecutive TISAC championship. The Ravens finished with 53 points to outdistance Cary Academy (43) and North Raleigh Christian (25). The following wrestlers won in their respective weight classes: Blake Sanders '16, Liam King '15, Ian Conley '17, Jonathan Prather '15, Brendan Gilbert '15, Garrett Hicks '15, DJ Washington '16, and Calvin Atkeson '18. Hicks was named the 2015 TISAC Wrestler of the Year.

On the hardwood, the varsity boys and varsity girls basketball teams finished with undefeated records in conference play after both teams beat Wake Christian on Friday night at home. The varsity boys won 86-61 to finish the regular season with a 21-6 overall mark and an 8-0 record in conference play. It is the ninth consecutive regular season TISAC title for the varsity boys team. The varsity girls won 61-17 and finished 23-4 overall and 10-0 in the TISAC for consecutive titles.

Ravenscroft's JV basketball teams both finished 8-0 in TISAC play. The JV boys finished 19-1 while the JV girls went 13-7 and won 11 of their final 12 games.
