Ravenscroft's conference-topping Girls Varsity Golf team took fourth place in the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association State Championship, held Oct. 22-23, 2018, at Whispering Pines Country Club in Whispering Pines, N.C.

The Ravens battled the defending state champions from Cannon School (431) as well as Charlotte Latin (506) and Wesleyan Christian (507) to finish with a team score of 513.

Carson Jenkins '19 (81-77-158 +14) led the Ravens, finishing in seventh place overall, earning All-State honors for the second consecutive year.

The team ends the season with an overall record of 23-11 and their third consecutive Triangle Independent Schools Area Conference Championship in a row and fourth overall (2011, 2016, 2017, 2018).

"I'm proud of my team and the way they competed this week," Coach Matt Zeblo said. "They were all resilient and played well against some tough competition for 36 holes. We'll take a lot of positives away from this experience as we look forward to next year."

Congratulations to Coach Matt Zeblo and the Ravenscroft Varsity Girls Golf team on a great season!
