Ravenscroft's office of alumni affairs has announced plans for an alumni art exhibit, which will be held in the Pugh Family Lobby of the Fine Arts building in October 2018, which includes Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, Oct. 5-6.
"We want to showcase the many talented artists, both professional and amateur, who have been a part of our art department over the years," Tammy Haywood, director of alumni activities, said. "The Alumni Art Exhibit can also be a great connecter between artists across the decades."
Both 2D (painting, drawing, design and photography) and 3D (jewelry and pottery) works will be considered. Alumni who are interested in submitting their work may find guidelines, specifications and deadlines on this submission form, which is due by July 11, 2018. Accepted work must be shipped or dropped off at the school Sept. 24-28. Ravenscroft reserves the right to accept or decline submissions.
