Lacrosse player Jimbo Barnes '13 was honored as the Raleigh Sports Club Student-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 24.

Jimbo, who plays midfield for the Ravens, was a co-captain and the TISAC Conference Player of the Year in 2012. He was also a 2012 NCISAA All-State selection and was All-Conference in 2011 and 2012. 

During his junior year, Jimbo led the Ravens in scoring with 42 goals and 11 assists en route to an NCISAA State Runner-up finish. He was also among the top five goal scorers for all schools in the Triangle in 2012. As sophomore in 2011, he recorded 26 goals and nine assists.

He has verbally committed to play lacrosse at Furman University.

Jimbo is also a member of the Ravenscroft Varsity Boys Soccer team.
