You make Ravenscroft special.
Volunteers play an important role in making Ravenscroft special and keeping our community close and connected. There are many ways for our alumni to help and be involved.
- Ravenscroft Connect
- Alumni Council
- Class Agent
- Ravens on the Road
- Pen Pal Program
- Reunion Committee
- Homecoming Committee
- Search and Rescue Committee
Ravenscroft Connect is the official networking platform for our alumni. It enables you to re-connect and reminisce with classmates, see what they have been up to and stay in touch; to give back – Introduce, employ and be a mentor to our graduating students; leverage your professional network to get introduced to people you should know; advance your career through inside connections working in top companies and access to exclusive opportunities.
You can sign up in less than two minutes by importing your Linkedin or Facebook profile.
Serve on the governing body of the Alumni Association. This committee meets four to five times a year and attends events planned by the Council. It is a two year term with the option of renewing for a second term. Council members are nominated and voted on in the Spring. Please let us know if this is something you are interested in being a part of.
Class Agents keep their class and Ravenscroft connected! Agents are responsible for collecting and submitting class notes for the magazine twice a year, notifying the Alumni Office of marriages, address and job updates, family additions, etc. Class Agents assist in managing a Facebook page for their class to stay connected.
Help plan an event in Raleigh or your city! The Alumni Office can provide a list of alumni in your area and help you contact them. This is a great way to network and meet people in your area who went to Ravenscroft. You secure the location, set the time and the Alumni Office can assist with invitations via email.
Be a part of the Pen Pal program with the 4th Grade at Ravenscroft! This is an opportunity for our alumni to stay connected to the school through a unique partnership with current students. Students begin writing letters in the fall and continue throughout the school year. Pen Pals get to meet each other at an event held at the end of May. However, Pen Pals that live outside of the Triangle area can meet their Pen Pals at any time they are in town as well as via skype! Distance is not a barrier!
