Ravenscroft does not participate in the North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Program. Maintaining our status as an independent school is critical to our ability to determine the mission, governance, programming and assessment processes that best serve Ravenscroft students and their families. The North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship Program imposes a series of rules and regulations governing the program that,  if we were to accept funds from the program, have the potential for the state to dictate future policies and programming for Ravenscroft and influence the key reasons families seek our school as a choice for their children.

Ravenscroft School admits students of any race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and national origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. The school does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, or any legally protected status in the administration of the school’s admissions, financial aid, scholarships, educational, athletic, and other school-administered programs, policies, and plans.
