The pre-application is the first required piece of your application and allows us to get to know your student(s) and family better. Once submitted, you will get access to the full application, including your checklist of items to complete.

Often referred to as an "interview", the Candidate Conversation is an opportunity for our team to connect with your family. Your student(s) are required to attend along with at least one parent or legal guardian. You will schedule your Candidate Conversation through your Aryval Enroll Checklist.

Applicants for Grades 9-12 are required to submit standardized test scores from one of the following tests taken within 12 months of the Priority Deadline (1/15/27):

Applicants submitting testing that does not include a writing sample are required to submit a graded writing sample from the applicant’s current English class.

• Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) – Test includes writing sample.
• Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) – Test includes writing sample. 
• CTP by ERB – Test does not include writing sample. The CTP test is only administered at participating private schools.
• PreSAT (PSAT) – 10th - 12th grade only. Test does not include writing sample. 
• PreACT – 10th - 12th grade only. Test does not include writing sample. 
• SAT – 10th - 12th grade only. Test does not include writing sample. 
• ACT – 10th - 12th grade only. Test does not include writing sample.

Upload copies of your student's report cards directly to the Aryval Enroll applicant portal. Final grades from each semester, trimester, or quarter must be present on all report cards.  Below is a list of required grade reports for the 2026-2027 application: 

• 2026-2027 Report Card (1st full term ONLY. This could be a trimester or semester report)
• 2025-2026 Report Cards (All terms or final report showing all terms) 
• 2024-2025 Report Cards (All terms or final report showing all terms) 

Each applicant is required to submit two completed recommendation forms from a current English and math teacher. Recommendation forms are available to families in your Aryval application portal and can be sent electronically to the recipient.

In order to learn more about you and get the full picture of you as an applicant, all prospective students will complete a Guided Interview through Vericant, a trusted partner in application interviews for high school students. This Virtual Guided Interview is a self-paced interview experience that allows our applicants to respond to four Ravenscroft-selected questions and a free-speech response using recorded video responses.

The Parent/Guardian Statement is a short-answer opportunity for the Admissions Committee to hear from the parents and/or guardians of our applicants. Some questions are based on personal experiences and some are best answered after your family has had a chance to learn about the Ravenscroft community.

A visit isn't required, but it's the best way to experience Ravenscroft for yourself — in person, on our campus, or virtually from anywhere.
