For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.
Three Ravenscroft art students have been recognized for their submissions to the Fine Arts League of Cary Teen Show.
Six Middle School students took the global Pegasus Mythology Exam in March, with all winning awards for their performance.

Now, you might be startled by that statement — let me explain. The reason that I draw the connection between school and a movie about “a miserable man stuck in a time loop” is the happy ending!
Educators, like Bill Murray’s character, Weatherman Phil, relive the same time period over and over again. School life is cyclic — for us, the time period is a year, and for Phil it is a single day. Good educators, like Phil in the movie, try new things in hopes of the desired outcome of student success. Great educators, like Phil, take advantage of the repetitions to learn and adjust for the desired outcome in the end. It’s important to note that a “great day” takes work — “an awful lot of work,” as Phil says.
