For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.
Three Ravenscroft art students have been recognized for their submissions to the Fine Arts League of Cary Teen Show.
Six Middle School students took the global Pegasus Mythology Exam in March, with all winning awards for their performance.

... Ned was a self-made businessman in Charlotte and an alum of Davidson College. He also fought in WWII.
Ned spoke at Davidson when I was a freshman, and his message resonated with me at a very critical time in my life. He said, “No one wants to hear your pity-party story” — meaning, you have a choice when you wake up every day. He gave out index cards with the following mantra printed on them:
THIS DAY
I will be enthusiastic.
I will think highly of myself.
I will find some good in everyone I meet.
I will do what has to be done.
I taped the card to my mirror after that speech and have tried to live by these words of wisdom every day. It's good advice.
