Watts Winston ’10

Watts Winston ’10 is a proud Ravenscroft “lifer,” graduating with the Class of 2010. He went on to earn a degree in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

After college graduation, Watts began his career with Hilton Worldwide, where he held a variety of leadership roles, ultimately serving as a General Manager. In 2018, he returned to Raleigh to join his father and brother at Winston Hospitality.

Today, Watts oversees the day-to-day operations of Winston Hospitality’s hotel portfolio, which includes Hilton, Marriott and independent properties.  He also plays an active role in the company’s growing development pipeline and in leading renovation efforts across the portfolio.

During his time at Ravenscroft, Watts was a member of the varsity basketball, football, and track and field teams. He remained closely connected to the school following graduation, serving on the Ravenscroft School Alumni Committee for six years, including multiple years as President.

Watts is married to Meghan Winston ’13 with one daughter.
