Sara Gregory

Sara Gregory P’26 ’28 ’31 is a strategic sales and consumer marketing professional in consumer products. She has had the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic brands in household consumer goods. Gregory started her career at Procter & Gamble. She quickly rose through the organization, working in various roles in Detroit and Boston before landing in Cincinnati. There she led market strategy and planning for the Pet Care division, with notable accomplishments in leading the development of a robust new business pipeline and launching several new products to the U.S. market. 

In 2005 she left Cincinnati and moved to San Francisco to work for The Clorox Company. There she continued to manage several businesses within the company’s wide product portfolio, driving consistent growth in U.S. sales and market share. In addition, Gregory spent time in the company’s center of excellence. There she led employee capability development for the sales function, expanding enhanced training programs for managers. Later she managed corporate business planning, where she developed process and organizational design, as well as change management, to drive speed-to-market and business results. 

Gregory left Clorox in 2015 to focus her time raising her three children and volunteering her time to nonprofit organizations. Her volunteer work has primarily centered around organizations and programs supporting women and children. 

Gregory is an honors graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in both communications and sociology. She and her husband, Matt, and their children Taylor ’26, Kate ’28 and Colin ’31 moved to Raleigh in early 2020.
