For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.
Lisa Silverman
As Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Syneos Health, Inc., Lisa Silverman P’23 ’25 is responsible for overseeing the company’s capital allocation, capital markets strategy and execution, and investment, risk, liquidity and cash management. She is a global executive whose career spans more than 25 years of financial experience with a proven track record of leading global organizations within various areas of the finance function.
Prior to joining Syneos Health in September 2019, Silverman served as Global Treasurer for Red Hat, an enterprise-software company that IBM acquired for $34B. She oversaw the Treasury Team and was a key leader during the IBM acquisition and subsequent integration. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Treasurer, with various financial roles of increasing responsibility in a 15-year career at Georgia-Pacific. At Georgia-Pacific, she negotiated the financing of the $21B leveraged buyout of Georgia-Pacific by Koch Industries.
Silverman holds a CPA license, earned a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas. She resides in Raleigh with her husband, Doug, and two children, Hannah ’23 and Ethan ’25.
