For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.
Amy Batten, Board Chair
Amy Batten P’22 joined the Ravenscroft board in 2015. She is a partner at the law firm of Smith, Anderson, Blount, Dorsett, Mitchell & Jernigan, L.L.P., where she currently serves as chair of its management committee, co-leader of its corporate team and co-leader of its public companies practice group.
Batten has over 25 years of experience in assisting public and private companies with securities and corporate law issues. She has broad experience in public company compliance matters, including SEC reporting, public disclosure and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. She also has substantial experience in public and private securities offerings, as well as merger and acquisition transactions, and regularly counsels clients with regard to corporate governance and general corporate matters.
She holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
