For the fourth year in a row, Ravenscroft's student-led fundraising team for Crucial Catch has been recognized as the top fundraising school in the nation, exceeding their goal of $30,000 by more than $6,000, and once again winning the prestigious Pink Cleat Award.
Amir Mehr
Amir Mehr P’17 ’19 ’23 has been working in the financial services industry since 1992. Since 2015, he has worked for Kensington Mortgages as Chief Credit Officer and Director of Data and Analytics while also sitting on the Executive Committee and the company board. Mehr is responsible for credit risk and policy, asset management and portfolio strategy. He and his team are also responsible for developing and maintaining the various analytics tools used for funding, operations and portfolio acquisitions for the group. Prior to that, Mehr’s experience was primarily in fixed-income capital markets with investment banks in New York and London, where he worked as a managing director responsible for structuring.
Mehr grew up in New Jersey before enrolling at NC State, where he received a B.A. in accounting in 1992. He also received his MBA from New York University Stern School of Business in 1999. His wife, Anne ’89, and their three children all attended Ravenscroft.
