Senior Ryan Gerard has been passionate about golf since he was given his first golf club at the age of two. Now, after many years of hard work and dedication, Ryan is one of the top junior golfers in the country and was recently featured in Triangle Golf Today.

Cathleen Pruden, Class of 2012, was selected as a Top 10 (DIII) for the NCAA Woman of the Year for swimming and diving. Thirty women were chosen overall to represent 13 different sports and undergraduate majors. Each woman demonstrated excellence in academics, athletics, community service, and leadership.

This summer, Matt Sheaffer '18 played Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the North Carolina Theatre. Matt has been involved in many Fine Arts departments, from string orchestra to voice to, of course, leading roles in the school's musicals and drama productions.

Ravenscroft students compete in Hood to Coast relay, finishing as the overall highest fundraising team and the only team of all-high-school-students. In total, Ravens in the Hood has raised over $350,000 for the American Cancer Society since 2009.

Over the summer, a group of 10 Ravenscroft rising ninth graders and 11 Ravenscroft rising tenth graders traveled to Europe to attend the EF Global Leadership Summit.

Spoleto Study Abroad provides a unique model for global education, offering students of instrumental music, creative writing, photography, filmmaking, and vocal, dramatic and visual arts an opportunity to hone their craft and to think more broadly about the aesthetic and philosophical assumptions that have underpinned medieval, Renaissance, and contemporary artistic expression.
