The #2 Ravenscroft boys' basketball team won its first State Championship in 32 years on Saturday, Feb. 25, defeating #4 Greensboro Day, 64-52, in front of standing-room only crowd at the Main Arena.

Ravenscroft will host author Cathy Davidson on Monday, March 19 at 7 p.m. in the Christina B. Jones Theatre. Davidson is the author of "Now You See It: How the Brain Science of Attention Will Transform the Way We Live, Work, and Learn." The event is free and open to the public. The presentation is for parents, educators, and high school aged students.

The Ravenscroft Girls swimming team finished third and the boys finished 11th at the NCISAA 3A State Championship meet at the Greensboro Aquatic Center on Feb. 21.

The Ravenscroft Wrestling team finished eighth overall at the NCISAA State Tournament at Charlotte Country Day on Feb. 18. Two Ravens finished in the top three of their respective weight classes.
